It just sounds some very loud BEEPs when turned ON and I have to kill the batteries to get it to stop BEEPing ! Sometimes and only sometimes I can get it to BEEP again by holding OK while turning the POWER ON. Sometimes when it comes on the screen will some some horisontal stripes. Now it’s dead with the lens half out. What is wrong and what can I do to fix it ?
@keldsor first you need to check to see if this is a battery issue. Try a new battery first. You should also try to use the direct power cable for your camera that hopefully came with your camera. You also want to check your memory card. For testing purposes I would either replace it or just remove it and see if your camera comes on. Hopefully it’s just a bum battery. If none of this works properly consider that this could also be a lens error. You May have to try and clean or replace the lens.
