Hi, well, I’m just about built such “display” but I wonder if I could use internal iMac speakers as well. All 5k display drivers have headphone jack socket and I’m assuming I would need amplifier to connect any speaker into it. As I see there are 2 speakers per channel, one for high and the other for low tone. The case is which small amplifier would work with internal iMac speakers? The best with the one regulator. Thanks in advance for help.
Sadly you can’t use the 5K Apple display as its custom display made just for them! There is no driver logic other than what the iMac logic board has to push the display.
