So my controller started doing something strange after a bit of water got spilled over it. It can turn on, but shuts down a few seconds later, like it has run out of battery. Then if I connect it to my PS4 charger, it says it’s charging and stays on without any issues, but when I disconnect the cable from it, it again shuts down just seconds later. Anyone knows what the issue could be and if there’s a fix for it?

A bit of cleaning should solve your problem, dismantle your controller and use an electronic cleaning product on your circuit board, especially where the water leaked.
