Chosen Solution

So, today I started a repair on an iPhone 7 screen. No big deal, just going through the normal process. Get everything all set up and turn on the bad boy when, wouldn’t you know it, the darn thing starts a constant reboot. “I have had this before. I will just do an iTunes update/restore.” So I get through the update… No remedy. Go through restore. And heck DFU restore at that. Well. I did this to no solution. Decided. I must have missed something. I go to the home button, and unplugged it. Boom! goes right to the start screen. Plugged it back in, now it goes through the reboot process again. I have checked the cable, and I have checked the connections. All is good. So, what do I do now? I read that we cannot replace the home button, and I really don’t want to send this off for a replacement, but, if I have to I guess I will. Help me Ob1. You may be my only hope.

I have had this happen to me with, stangely enough, the two bottom buttons! Every single time I would install the bottom buttons, the device would constantly reboot itself with the Apple logo! Crazy ness. Basically, you need a new screen installed to fix this issue. Just like @benjamen50 mentioned to do. Unless you are refurbishing the screens, the you could replace the home button flex cable connection. Otherwise, just install a new screen from a reputable seller and you will be all set. Ah, the weird things these phones do sometimes. I’m sure you know how to replace the screen but here is a guide anyway. iPhone 7 Screen Replacement

Just change the home button, that’s all
