When pressed on the power button normally for 1 sec and lift up, the screen backlight will just light up and cuts off immediately. I need to hold down my power button to get the MacBook to boot up. However when booted up, it is extremely slow. I gave up trying to resolve this problem months ago but strangely today when I try again, the laptop works fine at least for a few hours until my laptop suddenly cuts off and all the symptoms are back. Not sure why a 0% battery maybe fixed something temporarily? Here is my iStat readings The CPU usage on kernel_task seems to be crazy high…
My temperature reading seems okay…

The Batteries age is a bit old for Apple to use if it was just a few months ago. Did you go to an Apple Store or just an authorized service provider, or just someone who serviced Mac’s. The error “Forced - Battery current outside limit” is often a sign the comparator charging logic has been damaged from a knockoff charger. Basically, there is a circuit which measures the voltage as the power is being driven into your system. A charger which is too powerful for the logic can damage it.
