You could try to clean the dust and replace your thermal paste. Overheating is the most common issue for laptops when they boot and shut down after a while. Although in desktops it’s quite easy to clean the dust and re-apply thermal paste, in laptops it’s a bit harder. If you don’t know how to disassemble it, it could become really troublesome.
