Hello everyone. I have a Asus R510L Notebook, running Windows 8. Theproblem is, whenever I boot up, it’s simply black however the lights is on and I tried removing the battery which didn’t help. There is little to no noise whenever it is running and no Asus/Windows start screen. It’s really important for me to fix since I have school documents there and I need it for homework asap, so any answers that may help is really appreciate it. In advance thanks for the help and have a good day! Update (04/17/2017) More information; It happened last night when connecting a HDMI cable to the pc in order to watch a dvd on the laptop. When reconnecting the HDMI, the screen went black. I tried using the F8 and F5/F7 hotkeys to see if that was the problem but no avail. I also tried using the TV as as a external monitor but it wouldn’t go through.
