I have an LG LFX39125ST. The compressor is not shutting off during defrost cycle. Does that mean I need a new board?
Hi, Maybe not. Here’s the service manual for the refrigerator. Go to p.80, Section 14-1-15 Defect Diagnosis Function to see how to check if there are any error codes being stored. On p.21 it shows what the error codes mean and on p.23 onwards it describes what to check for each error code. Hopefully a start.
