I’ve been doing research & it tells me that the iPhone 5 SE has the same tristar ic chip as the iPhone 6s? And I would like to know if u can swap the chip from IP 5 SE an use it on the IP 6s due to my phone not powering on nor charging just a black screen.
Charge ic Is Tigris Not Tristar. Tigris is interchangeable with 6s Tristar is USB communication IC. Tristar for the 6s is 1610A3 and don’t recommend to be swapped. This type of work need micro soldering best to get a professional to fit a new ic.
the 1610a3 is backwards compatible (it can be used in place of the older 1610a2, 1610a1) but ive never tried to use a 1610a1 in place of a 1610a3.
