Chosen Solution
Honestly I think I did something that resulted this issue, two things. I tried to fit my unit inside a pouch, to the point that it is totally cramped inside, no allowance for space.This might be dumb but I tried to put some toothpaste on a scratch, and I accidentally smudged some of it inside a narrow gap on the top screen, then I tried removing it using a tiny sheet of paper. It was successful, but it looked like the gap got wider a bit. Then the next day as I opened up my unit, this surprised me. I’m not sure which among those two really caused the issue. Just a straight line across the center of the screen, it’s not moving anywhere. I can see that it is changing colors depending on the graphic on the screen, with too much yellow/orange on it. It disappears sometimes without me doing anything, as in rarely, but goes back again.
Hi! Not sure what caused it.. I don’t think option 1 caused it, could be the toothpaste action though. But could also be caused by something else, or it happened just out of nothing. Anyway, you probably need to replace the upper LCD screen to get back to what it was. And if you are there, just clean everything again, and make sure all the toothpaste is gone for good.
