Hello, Someone gave me a Nintendo Switch to fix it. What I’ve already done: After unmounting it I found that the battery was dead (0V) so I ordered and mounted a new one. But it was not working: battery at 2.8V so I suppose not enough to boot. Then I tested the charger: 0V on the out of USB C on the Switch board! So I borrowed one to test if it was really the charger or the connector. The problem: Now my problem is that when I plug in the cable I can hear a little regular clicking noise I think coming from the M92T36. It’s like a spark sound. I don’t know if it’s normal, I dare not leave plugged in for fear of killing the battery / charger. If someone can confirm me that I can leave the charger plugged in, Thank you, Emerick

From what I’ve heard is that if someone used a USB-C charger that wasn’t suited for the Switch would cause the charging IC to become damaged, more than likely that is the issue here.
