I’ve been repairing some back light issues in 50-60+ inch TVs. The hardest thing was removing and reinstalling the actual screen. I broke a couple while removing and installing. I decided to get suction cups from Home Depot to help with this process. It just seems easy now but I left the suction cups on and the last one left a 4 inch circle on the screen. The picture works in the circle but it is a clear defect. Is there any way to fix this? Has anyone else made this mistake
Are you able to link a picture of the circle here? It sounds as if the screen itself was physically affected, and if that is the case it may be beyond saving for that specific screen. Seeing it would give a much better idea though.
