I purchased a Talk n Play from a rummage sale and I took it home and the cassette tape doesn’t play or rewind. In order for me to hear the tape, I have to hold down the pause button ever so slightly.
The Child Guidance Talk n Play 1984 toy was most likely dropped in the past and the buttons are damaged, meaning they shifted up in the toy, that’s why you have to press down the pause button to hear anything because the play button is behind the pause button, You’d have to take it apart to realign the buttons.
