John Wellock, We volunteers here at I fix normally give advice on how you would repair the device yourself. If you wish to have your device repaired pop into a good local cell/computer repair shop and have them take a look and estimate repair. If it is loose or damaged definite repair required. But if it just stopped working, try a different compatible charger/cord to see if that is the issue, look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue, check for bent terminals and straighten carefully with a tooth pick.
