My husband tried to charge my ipad Air with his Kindle charger, in the process damaging the charging port. Apple have told me I will need to pay almost as much as for a new one for a replacement iPad and they will then repair mine and sell it as reconditioned.
Yes they can be replaced but these are soldered on so you have to find someone with soldering exp. don’t try it if you’ve never soldered
Can u fix an I pod charger port
First, Kindle charging port have different pin configuration and it wont be 100% compatible. Second, if you want to replace ipad air charging port, you must to have a hot press equipmwnt to do the right job.
I have a ipad pro 12.9…and the charging port is hardly working and i asked apple bout it and they said buy a new ….as matter of fact….what a way to do business….so ive been looking for someone that can do the repair and not thru apple
