In short, title a few months ago the charger on my Asus x555L started acting strangely, only charging when it was turned at a certain angle. now it refuses to charge entirely, and the charger will not stay secure in the port as the port is broken. how would I replace the port with a new one, thereby fixing the issue?
The charger port is soldered onto the board meaning you’d need either a hot air rework station + soldering station to remove the port or a soldering iron station + solder sucker to remove the old solder to remove the old charger port.
