Chosen Solution
just changed my iPhone 6 motherboard. its charging when its powered on while connected to the laptop but when i put it into recovery or DFU it says device unknown. i’m using an original cable changed the motherboard 2 times same problem. could it be a hardware connection i’m missing, if yes then where. thank you for your time and i would appreciate any solution suggestions.
I would try a new charging port. Why did you replace the motherboard?
