Reboot tv. To factory setting upon start up it want to pair with remote. Well no one sells them. My tv is el4kamz5017t. And my remote is doa. Please help…. I have no tv
Hi, Have you tried new 2 x AAA batteries in the remote (and checked that they were both inserted the correct way), just in case the existing AAA batteries were faulty, you didn’t say? Did you press and hold the Power button on the remote for at least 10 seconds to see if the TV found it and paired? Also try disabling the BT in any other BT devices e.g. mobile phone with BT enabled, just in case their signal is confusing the signal from the remote. Once it has paired it should be OK to enable them again. Can you “see” the remote in the BT menu of a mobile phone or other BT host device, when you press and hold the remote’s power button?
