I have a local password that you jave to enter before it will bootup system ive not changed it but its saying that its incorrect Wont let me do anything plz help
Remove the CMOS battery and the regular battery. Unplug all wires which are connected to the laptop. Then wait about 10 minutes. Reinstall the CMOS battery (or replace it, if it is low or dead) and the regular battery, then reconnect all wires. The above procedure will clear the setup password. But you’ll need to go into setup and reset the date/time and maybe some other things after doing it.
