if someone tries to call me the answering machine comes on and I cant call out
Hey Chrissie, So sorry to hear about your problem. The first thing i would like to check out is if you bought the phone yourself straight from the company or straight from a authorized retailer? If you just so happened to buy it off the streets or possibly from a shady store, it is possible that your phone has been reported stolen. You can check the status of your phone by going to: https://swappa.com/esn If you bought the phone directly from an authorized dealer, then that isnt the issue. Unless you didnt finish making payments or something. Another question i have is, is your internet and text messaging still working? Its just your phone calls are not going through. If thats the case then you probably have some kind of shortage in the phones main board. That is a very tricky issue to deal with and even most repair shops do not deal with that kind of thing. What i would suggest doing, if your phone isn’t network blocked, is to just contact apple. Because if your internet and text messaging works (service provider internet, NOT wifi) then there is definitely some hardware problems going on. I hope this was of some help.
