Chosen Solution
Hello guys, I am having a weird problem that is really confusing me. Changed the home button for my old iPhone 4s but when I close the screen and screw all the screws back the home button is always in pressed down state. It is not pressable at all because there is no room for movement. Don’t know what went wrong. What should I do to prevent this from happening?
Most likely this is being caused by the screen not sitting right in the mid frame. Loosen screws securing screen and make sure everything is aligned. When re-tightening do not apply pressure to either screen or mid frame. have the assembly resting on a hard surface and tighten the screws.
