Hello, I recently purchased a iphone 5 with a cracked screen on eBay. After receiving the item I realized that not only the screen was broke but also the cellular antenna. The screw that was connecting it had ripped it so I bought a new one and replaced it. I thought the phone was surely fixed until I tried to make a phone call. The phone call goes through but I cannot here the receiver and they cannot here me. I know for a fact it is not the headset speaker or mic because I recorded myself and listened to it through my headset. I even have used another calling app to see if my calls would go through there and they did! I dont know whats wrong and its extremely frustrating. Im going to try and update it to the latest firmware but thats my last resort. Any input would be helpful.Also front camera does not work if yall could help me on that but I am not too concerned with that
I take it your on about the earpeice speaker beside the front camera? If the front camera isn’t going and the flex is damaged then the speaker won’t go either make sure the connection has not came out.. If the connection is broken then u need a new1 iPhone 5 Front-Facing Camera and Sensor Cable Replacement
Can’t hear calls only on speaker phone on I phone 5
There are 3 microphones in an iPhone 5 One that’s on the dock for making calls another one that’s beside the flash that’s for the rear camera and one that’s just behind the ear peice mesh that is for Siri .. The microphone on the dock so you need to replace the dock iPhone 5 Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack Replacement
