With both the Theodolite and Spyglass apps, the elevation angle readings are not accurate. i have tried resetting general settings, but no luck.
Sounds to me as a Gyroscope issue. Here is a link to more information about the iPhone 4 Gyroscope. Is your iPhone still under warranty? If it is, take it to your nearest apple store and they will replace your iPhone for free. HOWEVER before you do this you need to make sure it is not just a simple firmware issue. Restore you iPhone completely and see if the problem still persists. If it has not changed, make sure you know how to repeat the error and show the “geniuses” at the apple store. Hope this helps :D
