I need help I used a friends aftermarket charging plug and when i attempted to pull it out it the tip snapped and is now stuck inside my firewire port.. Took it to apple and they wouldnt even open it up
Sharp straight tweezers can get the part out without opening it. Can you post a picture of it here?
Get a cotton ear swab (the smallest the better). Get superglue and try to stick the tip of the cotton to the end of the connector. DO NOT USE TOO MUCH OR GET IT ON THE SIDES this will make it even worse. Leave it there until it is fully dry (like 30 minutes JUST to be safe) and try pulling it then. You can also use a toothpick and some cotton on the tip.
