Chosen Solution
My HP printer says there is a carriage jam. I have done everything suggested online to clear the jam and there is no paper jammed inside the printer. I have gone through all of HP’s trouble shooting suggestions.
I’m not familiar with this particular model so this is just general advice. It could be that there is a small slip of paper covering one of the sensors it uses to detect the jam. It may be hard to find without some disassembly. Or it could be a failure in one of the sensors. Does it give any error numbers or codes?
