Can the ambiant temperature sensor be replaced? About how much would that be and where do I take it please?
You would need to find the sensor itself and see if there’s any sort of identification number or SKU on the sensor. If there is, get a replacement and install it, making sure to replace any thermal interface material or tapes. If there isn’t, then try posting a picture of the sensor to see if there’s any gear junkies out here who can identify it.
