Hey all , i have an external drive that I format to APFS in stat to usb3 adapter in my MacBook Pro, when I try to connect the hard drive to the standard SATA in my mac, I can see that the hard drive is recognized but can’t use it, its saying “the disk you inserted was not readable by the computer”, but when I connect the hard drive to the same mac via the USB-SATA adapter, its looks fine and work correctly. How can I fix that without format the hard drive again?

I’m suspecting the partitions of your drive where not setup to be a bootable drive. Apples APFS is still a work in progress! So you may encounter issues that where not expected. I would try re-installing the OS onto the drive so see if that fixes things.
