Can’t hear or be heard when making calls. I tested the mic with voice memo and that works fine. facetime is working fine, I can receive text messages and the network has full bars all the time. Basically everything else is working fine, the phone is updated to the latest version. I was thinking it could be the headphone jack so I tried cleaning the lint out of it, but no luck, headphones as far as music etc… but still can’t hear or be heard on calls. Any suggestions?
Hello! Was the phone repaired or disassembled before? Any recent or past water blow? I just stop working? The microphone that sends the audio in calls is at the bottom, next to the dock. The microphone that records the audio in video or whatsapp is in the upper part (next to the handset). The handset (of calls) is on the other end, they have nothing to do “physically” with the call microphone, so it could be a failure in motherboard. If he makes a call and activates hands-free (speaker) can he listen and listen to him?
