My girlfriend’s iPhone won’t play any music or snapchat video audio unless you have headphones in. What’s weird is that the phone says theirs headphones already plugged in but there’s nothing plugged in. Any ideas?
If it thinks there is a headphone jack still inside this means that the headphone jack is clogged, water damaged or just has gone plain faulty. You can try cleaning the headphone jack first and if that does not work then you will need to replace the charging port dock assembly. I tried cleaning it for a few clients. All ended up still not solving the issue so I ended up replacing the charging port dock assembly for them. Hi, there can be multiple reasons for this issue, if the headphone socket was given a rough mechanical stress [Usage of incompatible headphones]. or it might be a software issue [In that case you can try a Factory Reset]. But without a proper diagnosis its hard to figure out.. All the best..
