Chosen Solution Screen frozen won’t respond, or close If I understand you correctly, the screen is frozen and nothing, not even the mouse is moving as if a picture would be on the screen. This is usually caused by the computer getting overloaded (is trying to process more than it’s capable of) and it will stop working. Most of the time it solves itself just by waiting for a few seconds and then you should probably close a program so it won’t happen again....

Chosen Solution Somehow when opening my 120gb iPod Classic and disconnecting the battery connector, the whole thing ripped off. When I changed the battery years ago I didn’t do this, but now going to replace the hard drive I must have pulled on the release tab too hard. Looks like the solder points are gone, so I figure I can’t even just have someone solder a new connector in place. Will I have to replace the logic board or just get a new iPod to work with?...

Chosen Solution Apple logo loop, placed it in recovery mode to conect to itunes tried restore and update and then error 4013 comes up. what can it be? Did you have any issues with the phone before it happened such as the phone being laggy with touch, speaker, microphone not working or speaker icon greyed out on call screen? If yes, the phone has an audio IC fault which causes this issue and would need to be taken to a reputable phone repair shop that does board-level / micro soldering repairs to replace and fix the weak connections under that chip....

Chosen Solution I bought the mower not running. Its a 46" cut craftsman. It has the 25hp v-twink intek motor. It cranks, kinda trys to start but wont. It does kinda pop when trying to start. Thought might be timing issue so replaced flywheel key but did not help. Has clean new gas, i cleaned the carb, replaced fuel pump. I have checked kill switches, has new battery. Can anyone help me figure this darn thing out please...

Chosen Solution When I turn on my ti-84, the cursor on my screen is stuck constantly going up. It scrolls all the way through my previous calculations, and then gets stuck at the top when there is nothing else to scroll through. When I click on the down arrow, the cursor appears to flash normally as opposed to rapidly, but I still can’t type anything else into my calculator. Is this some sort of keyboard error?...

Chosen Solution MacBook Pro 15 laptop with Retina Display Mid 2014. Built in display quit working. I reset the NVRAM/PRAM and SMC, it worked for a couple days and then it went blank again. (back-light not coming on either) External monitor plugged into HDMI works. Comparing with my 2018, under About this Mac > System Report > Graphics/Displays, the Built-in Retina LCD is missing from the list. Only the HDMI screen is showing....

Chosen Solution So I’ve been trying to figure out the issue with my dryer for some time. I’ve had three repairmen come out - one said my dryer wasn’t getting power from the outlet. My maintenance man said the power was correct. The second guy said it was the switch - I replaced it with no results. The third guy said it was the timer, but I checked the timer with a multimeter and it seems to be working....

Im looking to get the IMEI off of a board i got delivered. but its FRP locked. there are no identifiers on the board itself, and the dial code *#06# doesnt work because emergency caller wont allow it. Am i missing something as to where that should be recorded? i know iphones have the “i” at the bottom corner, but samsung doesnt appear to have it....

Chosen Solution Ive done everything right, now for what seems to be the easiest last part everything has gone up in flames. The WiFi variety antenna is not clicking into the logic board, now it seems the antenna connector is deformed so bought a new one hoping it will work. Also the wide flex cable from the charging connector does not stay in the logic board now. Does the sticky tape around each connector help to get the connectors to stay in?...

Chosen Solution My freezer is not freezing and gets frost buildup on the back wall where the coils are located. It also get a block of buildup on the coils where the thermostat is located. I replaced the thermostat and run capacitor two days ago and it is getting the frost build up again as well as still not freezing properly. I know the fan blades on the condenser coils turn easily because I checked when I cleaned the coils (located on outside under the freezer section)....

Chosen Solution My Samsung Galaxy tab s3 (model#SM-T820) seems to charge normally. When starting up it gets stuck in the booting up cycle and the icon just spins. The system will advance no further. This is a hand me down so there is no data to save. At this point I can see 3 options: resetting the whole system, using it as a paper weight, or using it as a target the next time I go shooting....

At first, random notes would sustain forever (though the key would physically lift back up), or sound at max volume, or make other notes sound. I took it apart and cleaned everything as best as I could to no avail. I’ve now been able to identify certain consistent issues. For example, if I hold an F, and press the adjacent G, the piano will also sound a B and Db....

I had similar issue but just not turning on, case was full of hair which prevented the correct operation.

Chosen Solution Ok so my screen broke. I tried to repair it myself with a LCD from ebay and think I screwed the motherboard somehow. Now nothing shows up on the screen, but i can hear noises etc when I play when the home and power buttons so it does still work. But the screen is black and totally unresponsive to touch. Anyway took it to a technician. He tried 3 brand new lcds screens but none of them work....

Chosen Solution I have 89 honda acord I think it is clutch plate. Car makes.grinding sound when I am in gear 1 is ok pops out.2 same 3 only makes sound when I exselrate and so on. 170 k I can’t go in to reverse. Where do I start. Some one said I should adjust cable arm. No leaks no burnt oil smells. Looking for the cheapest fix Update (03/08/2018) So continue to take transmision out....

Chosen Solution I have an Asus C300M Chromebook. Every time I try to power it on it says “ChromeOS is damaged or missing”. I have attempted creating a ChromeOS recovery USB on a Windows 10 computer, even recreated the recovery usb while on Safemode with Networking (I saw someone recommended trying that on another form), but nothing works. It will verify the USB and then appear to start but it never recovers....

Chosen Solution i’d love to get a full-format camera, but I also like saving money. Would it be possible to build a camera from the ground up, just by ordering all the parts? Or are there extra components/firmware that can only come from the factory? Sadly, I think this is just not possible economically as well as technically. Unlike cellphones which are sold in the 10’s of millions of one model, digital cameras are sold in 20,000 to 50,000 per model....

Last time I used this device I left it on the charger for too long and it wouldn’t start up after unplugging it. This was several years ago.
